Spillers Buildings demolition 2


The wind was whistling through the fencing, making signs clink, windows flapped and banged. There was the strong smell of cement dust in the air, reminding me of the back of my grandfather’s grey Bedford van. Pigeons clapped wings as something alarmed them into swirling up from the roof to circle in hypnotising patterns. The jackdaws clattered and chattered.
