Spillers Buildings demolition 4

I thought about which photograph to choose out of this set. There are more dramatic, closer views of the remnants of the buildings and of the rubble. There are one or two that show men standing close to the machines and thereby provide scale for the scene.
I kept coming back to this one. I like the touch of gold in the sky from the sun just starting to break through the cloud, and the grey of the clouds toning with the outer structure of the extant walls. I like the touches of orange and yellow metal across the image. Most of all, I like the rhythm of the triangular shapes and the way that they work with the curve created by the outer edge of the remaining standing structure and the high heap of the demolished material.
