The wave and the pink line

It had been very stormy. It was almost dark by the time the gales had subsided enough for me to feel that driving would be relatively safe again.

Again, I wished I had a better camera and lens to capture better the subtle colours of the waves crashing against the harbour wall, with the light from the setting sun just catching the top.

I liked the way in which the fluorescent pink provides a clear shape and focal point to the darkness of the surfer and the sea.
